Isn't this so magical and fun? Every time I look at it, I swear I see something new. Known as a few things, Indian Paint Stone, Death Valley Paint, Navajo Blanket Stone. As you can probably guess this stone comes from Death Valley California. The land where it was found became protected in 1994. This means whatever is out, is it. No more.
I've been hoarding this stone and knew I had to make it out of my size or I would be tempted to keep it. She's long but thinner so its not too heavy if you wanted it for an every day wear ring.
Setting measures - 1 x .7 inches
My work is hand forged in my home studio located in a small Midwestern town in the northern Illinois region. I mostly use .925 sterling silver with the exception of .999 fine silver around the stone and for the ball embellishments.
**Indian Paint Stone known for grounding and stability, providing comfort and security, strength and healing. Balances the aura to a level of wholeness and peace. Acts as a reminder that one is not here on the physical plane simply for oneself, but to bring joy and substance to others.**
